The transfer of dry-land strength & power into thrust in competitive swimming

نویسندگان

چکیده

The aim was to compare the transfer of dry-land strength and power (S&P) shoulder into thrust in front-crawl between swimmers different competitive levels. Four elite six sub-elite were selected perform a or an in-water test random order. S&P measurements comprised mean torque, peak torque rotators dominant non-dominant upper-limbs that assessed on isokinetic dynamometer at 90°/s 180°/s. In-water thrust, collected using in-house customised system composed differential pressure sensors underwater camera during 25 m freestyle swim three paces (400 pace, 200 all-out). There non-significant trivial variations swimmers. but mostly large case thrust. Correlation coefficients significantly larger than counterparts. In conclusion, seem be more efficient transferring
